How to make a scented candle? The easiest way!

To make a scented candle in glass, you only need a few ingredients for a successful DIY recipe: wax, wick and a container for the candle. In the traditional process of creating scented candles, it is necessary to melt the wax, then pour it over the wick and wait until the wax cools down. However, if we want to make this process easier, we do not have to dissolve the wax. You're probably wondering how? A candle in a glass made of unmelted wax? Of course!
Just use a ready-made candle making kit. Each set contains specially prepared, natural palm wax in the form of sand, which does not need to be dissolved. The wax for making candles already has a ready-made scent, so we don't even have to worry about that. Each starter kit includes, in addition to natural wax, two wooden wicks with a metal plate, which will perfectly complement our candle. The wooden wick has a unique property - when lit, it sizzles gently, like wood in a fireplace, giving a cozy, soothing scent effect.
How to make a scented candle?
As we can see, making a large and small scented candle is quick and easy fun, even for the youngest, we can even suggest conducting candle-making workshops at a friendly kindergarten or school.
To make a scented candle, start by placing the wick with the plate in a glass vessel of your choice (it is important that it is resistant to high temperature, for example a jam jar will work perfectly). When placing the wick, remember to place it exactly in the center of the vessel (or proportionally if we use more wicks). Then we can fill the wick with scented wax in the form of natural sand in any colors we choose. The possibilities of combining colors are limited only by our imagination! When we finish piling, the wick should be cut to a length of about 5 mm above the height of the sand before lighting the candle.

Your questions about making scented candles yourself
Here is a collection of answers to the most frequently asked questions about making scented candles yourself.
1. Do I have to use a wooden wick?
Answer: You can choose any type of wick that suits you. Wooden wicks are included in the starter kits, but there is nothing stopping you from using cotton wicks, available in our store. Let's just remember one important rule - place the wooden wick in the sand candle every 4.5 - 5 cm, and the cotton wick every 3 - 3.5 cm.
2. How many wicks should I put in the vessel?
Answer: for the wax to dissolve properly, the number of wicks should be matched to the diameter of the vessel. We assume that we insert wooden wicks every 4.5 - 5 cm, and cotton wicks every 3 - 3.5 cm.
3. How long will this candle burn?
Answer: It all depends on how wide the vessel is and how many wicks we put in it. The more wicks, the faster the candle will burn out. Each set contains 250 g of natural wax in the form of sand.
4. Can I make a scented candle from this set using the traditional method (by melting and pouring)?
Answer: Of course, natural palm wax can be successfully dissolved and poured into the vessel of our choice. After cooling down, the palm wax will take on an elegant, shimmering, slightly "crystal" structure.
