Traditionally, for Advent we choose block candles, usually in the shape of pillars or a ball. Of course, Christmas colors reign - from rich red and burgundy, through subdued greens, rich shades of gold and silver or classic white. However, nothing stands in the way of choosing Advent candles in an elegant navy blue or deep purple.
Advent sets are a proven way to decorate

These will be either candles of the same height and diameter (so-called votive Advent candles) or candles in a graduated set, where each candle has a different height.
