Frequently asked questions about scented candles and answers

Here are the four most frequently asked questions about scented candles - we have ready answers for you. We invite you to read.
How long should you burn scented candles?
Answer: The burning time of a scented candle has a significant impact on how the candle will burn out and how quickly and effectively the scent will spread around the room. If you want to fill the entire room with fragrance, remember a simple rule - burn a scented candle at a time for long enough for the wax to dissolve over the entire diameter of the vessel - the so-called swimming pool. By following this rule, you will not only ensure the optimal release of scent from the candle, but also avoid the unpleasant phenomenon of candle tunneling, i.e. a situation in which the candle only burns out in the middle and a layer of undissolved wax remains on the walls of the vessel.
My candle doesn't burn out completely, the wax remains on the walls, what am I doing wrong?
Answer: Wax remaining on the walls of the vessel is not pleasant. Remember to follow the rule described in the answer to the previous question - burn the candle at a time for at least long enough for the wax to dissolve in the entire vessel and no wax remains around the walls. The minimum recommended burning time for a natural candle is shorter than for a paraffin candle - on average for natural candles it is from 1 to 2.5 hours, and for candles made of paraffin from 3 to 4 hours. However, the times given are approximate, as they are influenced by, for example, the temperature in the room. If you follow the above rule and the candle still tunnels, the problem may be the quality of the candle, e.g. incorrect selection of the wick. There are brands that recommend using candle covers to minimize the risk of tunneling - in good quality candles there should be no need for this.
My candle won't burn out completely - about a centimeter of wax remains at the bottom. Why?
Answer: Every reputable manufacturer of scented candles recommends that you stop burning the candle when a few to a dozen or so millimeters of undissolved wax remain at the bottom. This is for safety reasons - this phenomenon is completely normal.
I want my candle to smell strong. Which candles smell the strongest?
Answer: You should choose a scented candle depending on the size of the room in which it is to be burned. In our store, to make the selection easier, we have marked filters and parameters that help you choose a candle for small rooms, medium-sized rooms and large spaces. Why is this so important? Reputable candle manufacturers use a gradation of the intensity of the scent depending on the size of the candles, so when we put the smallest candle into a room of e.g. 50 m2, we may not feel the optimal intensity of the scent. Of course, some of us prefer a more delicate scent even in a larger room, and vice versa - some people love a distinct aroma in a small space, but these simple tips will make the choice easier.
